:

What Makes Up a Vocal arrangement?:
:
What makes up a vocal arrangement? The obvious thing is the lead. On top of that, you can add dubs and then theres harmonies and ad libs. How do you send that when youre doing online collaboration in a way thats conducive to it being clear and understandable?
How To Compile The Lead On Your Song:
:
Elite is comped, which means theres several takes that we then push into a single take. Another thing that some of you guys might be aware of are things called dubs. The main goal is to enhance the lead, basically, and change up the dynamics of the song.
How To Make a Lead Vocals:
:
Would you mix differently the dubs? I think the nice thing about processing a dub is it doesnt have to have as much clarity as the lead. Sometimes in rap, you want to dry as hell with no verb, no delay. Thats something youre just going to want to discuss with your producer.
AUTO Tune:
:
Ontaris: Lets jump into processing the vocals. The one that Im going to dive in a little bit today into is ontaris, like, the classic Auto Tune. If you guys dont have it, its only $40. I recommend it.
How to reshare my screen:
:
Let me also reshare my screen here Saturday, guys. Great. Okay, Im going to try this again. Share screen. Share sound. Please, God, play the yachty, yo. All good.
CLA Vocal Vocal:
:
CLA vocals, like I said, $40. Its the quickest, cheapest, easiest way, I think, as a writer and artist to get some type of chain. Sometimes the roll blocks feel like Im losing my mind. So I really recommend CLA vocals.
How To Tune Your Vocals (In 2 Minutes!:
:
But lets talk about tune a little bit. Hopefully you guys all have some form of tune or can figure out how to use the stock plugin based on whatever youre recording. Dont be afraid to mess around with form and Shift or Humanize. Were just trying to make sure everythings clean and crisp.
How To Send Stems Out [4]:
:
The next thing I want to talk about is how youre sending your stems out. Make sure that youre consistent and that its hopefully a system that your producer can easily understand. Especially if youre recording like 20 plus stems, you just want to make sure you make their job easy.
Exporting Vocal Sounds:
:
When youre exporting your vocals, you want to make sure that youre doing the whole length of the project and not just the small sections. Otherwise your producer gets your stems. Just make sure you guys are communicating about that and you know how to send it in the whole project.
How To Make a Vocals Track With Low Latency:
:
If you have more than 1020 vocal tracks, that would really save your project. Also working with always working on the serious real vocals with the instrumental. Great comment about the low latency. Thats also how you can record yourself with tune in real time.
Make Vocal Lead Sound Bigger Than The Track:
:
I was wondering if you have any advice to make the vocals sound bigger than the track. My first suggestion would be dubs. Sometimes its nice to bust your lead out to a verb. Turn the instrumental down a little bit so you can hear yourself more.
How To Make Your Voice Sound Bigger:
:
The question was about how to make my voice sound bigger in the recording. Its all about distance and, like, the right volume. Other tips would be figuring out the key of the song. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is that the song is good.
Wonders of Music: Harmonies:
:
I would love to do a whole session on harmonies because I think theres a lot of different ways that they can be utilized. So Id love to dive into that. Im sure we will this year.
Sending Tuned Vocal Sounds To Your Artists?:
:
Are you sending tuned vocals, desa, or are you just sending a screenshot of your auto tune settings? I normally honestly, I send it tuned just because the stuff that Im doing is not I feel capable of making my vocals sound like I wanted to. As a producer, Im sure you prefer them untuned.
How To Duas and Carolines Vocals:
:
I think the dubs are sometimes its nice to have different vocal textures too. Or you format shift your vocals as well. Little autoboy little Autoboy is good for format shifting, but it creates a stereo spread. Sometimes using the auto tune format is better.
How Do You Record Your Songs?:
:
Usually, depending on the song, I prefer to start at the verse and kind of move through it. Depending on how aware you are of how you want the different sections to sing, that informs how I record. We were talking about maybe doing a vocal health vocal technique workshop.
Best Way To Send Your Vocals To Pro-Tools:
:
What would be the best way to send your vocals to your producer? What youre going to want to do is export all of the tracks. Usually send it through this website called We Transfer, which is free. Dont be afraid to ask each other.
Lamp Music: This Week:
:
Any other questions or thoughts or concerns or notes about the week? Im so curious to hear what you guys are making. Thanks for asking questions and being into it. Hopefully I will see you soon.
